Arousing people to make choices is what I do with social media. I don’t understand why others say you shouldn’t use social media for selling. When you have certain types of contact with your customers this can be an important thing. Social media, radio commercials and TV ad are all alike. Sometimes that stuff can be boring.
Think about this for a second. They all use an SEO expert. There is a big difference between selling and interacting with your customers. Lots of the top sales people use some form of social media to stay in touch with their clients. They deliver them compelling information that is entertaining to stay in touch with them. Sometime others have problems and solutions can be found.
Where people get social media and use it all wrong it when they begin to shout, buy, buy, and buy to the people that are interacting with them. Nothing will turn people off more is this kind of activity. I don’t know why people do this, but it just does not work.
Social media is a wonderful tool that can be used to enhance your selling. It can highly influence people to go one way or the next. You don’t want to scream at people, interrupt them, spam them and stuff like that. Using stuff like I just mentioned will have your customers turning on you quickly.
For me to launch a product successfully, I have a process that I go through. First I’ll do x amount of one kind of tweeting and x amount of another kind of posting. Then I’ll make sure I have it on my blog. When people interact with you, you see where the interest lies.
I do a lot of different things when I talk to my customers. I made videos a certain way. They have services out there that will tell you if people take a liking to your videos. When they go to the URL that I place in my video, I can see where they came from.
I concentrate on doing very targeted means of communication. I tweet a certain way; I will put new content on my blog on a regular basis and I communicate with other social media realms with other people. Everything all works. I do pre-teleseminars. Everything has its place and fulfils a certain purpose.
When individuals contact me, I reply back to them. You’d be surprised at the conversations that you can have with others. This let’s me know if I am interesting or not. I always make a suggestion to have them tell their friends about me. What it boils down to is this; social media is a great tool if you use it the right way.
